Sunny South Florida. The perfect winter break for most North Americans, and with miles of beaches at your doorstep it’s a perfect way to chill out, but at night beware as the town goes all out.

I spent a weekend here with Mary, Linda and Lyndon, which certainly proved to be a full-on weekend, the girls had been here before and knew what to expect, on the other hand, the boys didn’t know what we getting into.

This place oozes money if you have it. With canals and rivers to explore, its climate is perfect all year round but is subject to be hit by Atlantic storms when they come in, most famously for the hurricanes that can hit.

Though this a good winter break and a warm spot to be, getting around can be rather tricky if you don’t drive as public transport is non-existent.

There are things that are better not mentioned here about Fort Lauderdale but it certainly was a wild weekend, the photos are limited and fuzzy, but so was the weekend.

Fort Lauderdale, known as the “Venice of America” due to its expansive and intricate canal system, is a city in Broward County, Florida, United States. The city is known for its abundant beaches, yachts, bars, night clubs.
